Ingredients

Strawberry Lime

  • 500 ml vodka
  • 2 cups (300 grams) strawberries, sliced
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Cranberry Orange

  • 500 ml vodka
  • 1.5 cups (150 grams) cranberries
  • 1 orange
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Cucumber Mint

  • 500 ml vodka
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 2 sprigs mint
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Instructions

Strawberry Lime

  1. Hull and slice the strawberries. Slice the lime.
  2. Add the strawberries, lime and vodka to a quart sized jar. Seal and store in a cool, dark place for 4-5 days.
  3. Strain the vodka into a clean jar and discard the fruit. Add the honey and shake well.
  4. Seal, refrigerate and serve cold.

Cranberry Orange

  1. Slice the orange. Use a toothpick to poke 3-4 holes into the cranberries.*
  2. Add the cranberries, orange, cinnamon stick and vodka to a quart sized jar. Seal and store in a cool, dark place for one week.
  3. Strain the vodka into a clean jar and discard the cranberries, orange slices and cinnamon. Add the maple syrup and shake well.
  4. Seal, refrigerate and serve cold.

Cucumber Mint

  1. Slice the cucumber.
  2. Add the cucumber, mint and vodka to a quart sized jar. Seal and store in a cool, dark place for one week.
  3. Strain the vodka into a clean jar and discard the cucumber and mint. Add the sugar and shake well.
  4. Seal, refrigerate and serve cold.

Notes

Cranberries: For an even stronger cranberry taste, you can puree 1/2 cup (50 grams) of the cranberries in a food processor before adding to the jar.
